Transparent Polycarbonate Roller Shutter
Transparent polycarbonate is extremely strong yet 100% transparent, meaning as an owner or an architect, we can ensure your shutter complements your building design. Made from non-toxic grade polycarbonate, they are virtually unbreakable, resistant to scratches and easy to maintain.
3mm thich UV treated and non-toxic polycarbonate slats that are 100mm high and 330mm wide, are finished with rounded top and bottom profiles. These slats are inserted into top and bottom oval shaped hollow extruded aluminum alloy hinges that are 30mm high and 16mm wide with nylon end caps to lock axial movement. Reinforced ribs inside the hinges provide high impact strength and reducs the deflection of the panels far beyond most other contemporary designs. To create silent and greaseless operation, nylon belts are wrapped around the edges of the curtains.
The hutter box is made out of two heavy duty steel endplates of thickness 4mm to 7mm according to the size of the shutter, joined together using five steel hollow sections of 50mm x 25mm, primer finished in black. Two 50mm x 50mm x 4.5mm thick steel angles with slotted fixing holes are welded with the end plates to fix the shutter box to the building structure.
Perforated See-Through Shutter
Perforated See-through shutter is another fabulous choice for shop front off time exhibition. It is a similar counterpart of the Polycarbonate shutter. However, Perforated See-through shutter’s slat is shaped by roll former. Therefore, with the same great visibility, aesthetic look, ad durability, its slat profile can be customized as desire.
The perforated vision shutter is constructed using steel or aluminum curtain slats with many small holes drilled into the slat producing a 17-25 % vision when used.
These small holes do not allow much at all to be passed through so maintain the highest level of security for a vision shutter. It is essential the window or door behind has good lighting in order to see through this curtain at night. The vision would not be that effective during daytime use.
Designed to provide an option to traditional rolling shutter where vision is required through the shutter at all times.
